2009 European Dressage Championships
Ellen Schulten-Baumer will be representing Germany as a German team member at the 2009 European Dressage Championships in Windsor, Great Britain, on August 25 - 30, 2009.
Schulten-Baumer fell off a horse two weeks ago and severely bruised her neck. It was uncertain whether she was allowed to ride. A mid-week check-up by the doctor, however, confirmed that Schulten-Baumer is in good enough health to ride.
"Ellen and her mare Donatha S today succeeded in their fitness test and are considered top fit," said team trainer Holger Schmezer. Ellen will be joining Susanne Lebek with Potomac, Matthias-Alexander Rath with Sterntaler-Unicef and Monica Theodorescu with Whisper on the German team.
