Massimo Petaccia, Italian dressage department manager, announced that only one horse has been confirmed to compete for Italy at the 2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, August 4 - 6, 2009.
Ester Soldi, a regular competitor in Verden, will be showing the 6-year old Oldenburg branded EH Absolute. This show jumping bred licensed stallion is by Abke out of Charlene (by Grannus x Corlando).
Ester Soldi is a prison police officer and daughter of the renowned international 3-day event judge and national dressage judge Alberto Soldi.
One more Italian horse will be present in Verden. German Eva Möller qualified Blickpunkt (by Belissimo M) for Germany. The horse is owned by Italian FEI rider Silvia Rizzo.
