A Sandro Hit x Donnerhall offspring became the Licensing Champion at the 2007 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany, October 27, 2007. The dark bay stallion (now named Soliman de Hus) is bred and presented by Kerstin Albers-Büker.
He is by Sandro Hit of out Danea (Donnerhall x Alabaster). The young colt sold at the auction for the top price of 700,000 euro to the French millionaire Xavier Marie of Haras de Hus in France.
The licensing champion of the show jumping colts was the bay stallion by Cornet Obolensky x Gambler’s Cup xx. Bred by Albrecht Middelkampf and presented by Heinrich Ramsbrock, the colt sold for 600,000 euro to Xavier Marie.
The reserve dressage champion of the licensing was a liver chestnut stallion by Florencio out of Donner de Nero (by De Niro x Argentinus). He is bred by Brood Farm Fries and presented at the licensing by Brood Society Nymphenburg. The Celle State Stud purchased the stallion at auction for 310,000 euro.
It is a remarkable fact that both the licensing champion as well as the reserve champion both descend from sires branded outside Hanover. Sandro Hit is a foundation sire in Oldenburg, while Florencio stamps the Westfalian breed through the Florestan line.
Finishing third in the premium ring was the dark bay colt by Competent out of Paloma (by Picard x Daimyo xx). Gestut Sprehe acquired the stallion from Heinrich Ramsbrock at auction for 125,000 euro.
