2001 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing

The divine Natiello xx x Wenzel II offspring became the Champion stallion of the 2001 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany. The pit black stallion is bred by Hans Heinrich Blume from Burgwedel

, and was presented at the approval by Heinrich Giesselmann from Barver, Germany.

Dam St Pr St Weira (by Wenzel II) is a highly famous brood mare who already gave birth to several National Breed Show finalists. After the licensing, the black was sold at the open stallion sale (first time ever - before, the National State Stud of Celle had a first choice in buying new stallions amongst the collection). A Danish stallion station purchased this youngster for 300,000 DM.

Reserve champion of the licensing was a superbly jumping get by Stakkato x Sandro. The bay stallion, bred and presented by Gerd Odlozinski, won the Winergy Prize for the best jumping horse of the licensing. Manager of the Celle State Stud, Dr Burchard Bade, purchased the horse for 320,000 DM. Most expensive horse of the Open Sale was a De Niro x Walt Disney offspring and got sold for 530,000 DM. Dr. Ulrich Kriebel from Bienenbüttel bred this excellent mover and Gestut an der Ilmenau from Bad Bevensen presented the young sire at the licensing.

The 1999 Hanoverian offspring proved to be of excellent quality, especially the show jumping horses seemed to stand out. The Open Sale was a huge success. For an average price of 78,246 DM, 65 stallions were sold. Dr Burchard Bade from Celle bought 11 stallions for his federal stallion station. The most expensive not-approved stallion was a De Niro x Warkant offspring who was sold for 60,000 DM to a Westfalian training stable.
