Belgian equestrian photographer Dirk Caremans published a unique book with the story of the Belgian riders at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen. Belgium won individual gold in show jumping and driving and was tremendously successful at the Games.

Caremans commemorates the event with an exclusive book featuring his beautiful photos and heart-felt interviews with the Belgian riders who participated in the Games. For some riders the road to the Games was long and difficult, for others a dream that came true. The book brings the personal story of each Belgian participant and shares in their joy and happiness as well as in their sorrow, hope, despair and illusion. The photos depict sport and emotion.

Aachen 2006 was an event never to forget. Relive Aachen with Dirk Caremans' book.

The book is in trilingual (Dutch, French and English) and is for sale for 35 euro (mail order) or it can be purchased at the Lami-Cell booth at the CDI-W Mechelen.
