Royal Blend and His Highness Win First Bundeschampionate Qualifier in Bremen

Royal Blend and His Highness have won the first Bundeschampionate qualifier of the 2006 show season hosted in Bremen, Germany. These two licensed stallions stood out in a vast field of competitors that are vying for a berth

at the 2006 German Young Horse Dressage Championships held in Warendorf, Germany, in September.

The Hanoverian licensed stallion Royal Blend reigned supreme in the 5-year old dressage horse division. Under Celle state stud rider Susanne Ersil, the Rotspon x Lauries Crusador xx son scored 9.0. Annelie Lubbeke and Rivaner placed second.

The Hanoverian licensed stallion His Highness scored 8.7 under his new rider Inga von Helldorf and topped the leader board in the 6-year old dressage horse division. Owned by Doug and Louise Leatherdale, His Highness is by Hohenstein. More "royalty" floated to the top in that division. Hannes Baumgart and his stallion Royal Highness ranked second with 8.6.
