Wiens and Boening Win Munster Bundeschampionate Qualifier

Christiane Wiens of Gestut Hoftehof in Meppen, Germany, won the Bundeschampionate qualifier in Munster July 30, 2005. Aboard the Hanoverian bred Wanthano (Wolkentanz II x Rubinstein), Wiens scored an impressive 8.7 mark

in the 5-year old Dressage Horse class and beat Ann Kathrin Helmig on Davenport (Dream of Glory x Gletscher).

The 6-year old division was won by Ilka Boening on Franklin, a Florestan x Welcome offspring. With an 8.2 score, Boening was the only rider in the class to qualify for Warendorf.
