2003 Canadian League World Cup Finals

Belinda Trussell and Royan II rode away victorious after winning both legs of the Canadian League World Cup Finals Sponsored by Swarovski.

Trussell, partnered with her 2003 European Dressage Championships mount Royan II, put in a very solid freestyle and were awarded first place with a score of 68.975%. But Gillian Sutherland, riding Karen Soupcoff's Justin Tyme, didn't make it easy for Trussell. The pair also put in a solid performance to which the judges gave a score of 68.175%.

Keeping the spirit of competition very much alive, Julia Vysniauskas and her Czechoslovakian Warmblood Syntax finished in third position with 67.175% with Jacqueline Brooks and Finnigan finishing in fourth place with 63.825%.

As winner of the Canadian League World Cup Final, Belinda Trussell & Royan II will represent Canada at the World Cup Final in Düsseldorf, Germany, April 1-4, 2004.
