The 2003 Belgian Dressage Weekend is coming up October 17 to 19, 2003, at equestrian facility Azelhof in Lier (Koningshooikt), Belgium. This weekend features the Belgian Dressage Championships
for pony, junior, young riders and Grand Prix riders, as well as the national championships at Intermediaire I level, which are called "Flanders Open".
On Saturday October 18, 2003, the "Flanders Open" has its finale with a Kur to Music on Intermediaire I level. Saturday is also special because Belgium's finest 4, 5 and 6-year olds can be seen in action in Lier.
If you can't go the entire weekend, it is Sunday October 19, 2003, that you have to be present at this event. It's Kur-Day for the Pony, Junior, Young Riders and Grand Prix riders. Furthermore, in corporation with the Belgian Warmblood Society, several lovely dressage stallions will be presented during the evening. Afterwards, the KBRSF (Royal Belgian Equestrian Federation) battles against the LRV (Rural Riding Society) determining which federation has the best young competition horses. The evening closes off with a clinic featuring Dutch Grand Prix rider Tineke Bartels and Imke Bartels as clinicians.
