The organisation of the "Paris Horse Show", the annual CDI/CSI World Cup Qualifier in Paris-Bercy, France, has annulled the 2003 edition of their show.

The Paris Horse Show asked for extra funding for the upgrading of the 2003 show due to the recent successes of the French Show Jumping Team at the 2002 World Equestrian Games. However, the president of the French Equestrian Federation, Mrs Jacqueline Reverdy could not grant this, which made the Paris Horse Show decide to annul the competition in 2003.

Main organizer Jacinte Giscard d’Estaing immensely regrets the situation but will keep involved in the horse business. The Paris Horse Show hopes to be able to rely on the Palais Omnisports of Paris Bercy, the sponsors and spectators for a new rendez-vous at the 2004 CDI Paris.
