After four years of residence in the Oldenburg province in Germany, 4 time Olympic gold medallist Nicole Uphoff is returning to her homestead in Rhineland.

Together with her life partner, the New Zealander and show jumping rider Travis Morgan

, Uphoff is renting 20 stalls in the equestrian facility Gutshof Gluckauf in Hunxe, Germany.

Originally from Duisburg, Uphoff is the only dressage rider who has been able to win two individual Olympic gold medals in a row. In Hunxe, she's hoping to found a trainingbarn where she can accomplish her new goal. "I want to come back on the scene with a top horse once more," Uphoff quoted.

Uphoff is currently competing two mounts. Rimsky Korsakow is her Prix st Georges horse and Ephedra S (by Ehrentanz) is her 6-year old mount which she has shown at the Bundeschampionate.
