2000 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing

At the 2000 Stallion Licensing in the Niedersachsen Halle in Verden, Germany, catalogue number 105, a pitch black Don Bosco x Lauries Crusador xx stallion, was laureled as Champion of his licensing year.

Crowd pleaser and absolute favourite of the judges, the young stallion impressed each day throughout the approval procedures. Descending out of Larissa, a Lauries Crusador xx x Pik Bube I, nr 105 was purchased by Bernhard Bade, head of the Landesgestut in Celle, for only 90,000 DM.

Reserve Champion was a Charon x Glucksstern offspring, and runner up was a Donnerhall x Weltmeyer x Akzent II-stallion. This last one was praised for his exquisite dressage qualities, and his jumping technique. Ludger Beerbaum's sponsor, Sprehe, purchased the most expensive participant of the 2000 collection. The highly noble Laptop x Papi's Boy xx x Der Löwe xx show jumping prospect was worthy 215,000 DM. The Carbid x Afrikaner xx show jumping star won the Winergy Prize for best show jumping horse. Albert Sprehe bought him for 105,000 DM. 10th placed at the licensing was a Bergamon x Rubinstein I descendant who possesses exceptional dressage capabilities. For 165,000 DM the black stallion will move to Hilltop Farm in the USA.
