German dressage trainer Oliver Oelrich will be succeeding Jörg Schrödter on DSP Licensing Committee as the dressage expert.

He will take up the role as of the 2027 DSP Licensing in January.

"Oelrich will bring his extensive experience in international elite sports to the DSP Licensing Commission. The renowned dressage instructor and trainer has a trained eye for the potential and development of young horses," DSP stated. "He has made outstanding contributions to the development of young German dressage talent: From 2010 to early 2020, he served as a discipline coach at the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR).

Oelrich has a busy role as a much demanded trainer. He travels across Germany for coaching, including a stint at Meggle stable. He is Switzerland' official team trainer, and lately has been giving training seminars for the Belgian youth squad riders.

Since 2020, Oelrich has been a member of the Oldenburg Licensing Committee, contributing his expertise to
training courses on evaluating basic gaits and dressage aptitude in young horses.

Schrödter leaves his role with DSP after 10 years.  "As a dressage rider who himself competed successfully up to the Grand Prix level and a long-time instructor, he consistently brought his practical experience in the sport to the stallion evaluations," DSP stated.
