The FEI has allocated Randbøl (DEN) as the destination venue of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses for the three-year cycle 2028, 2029, 2030.

This was decided at the first in-person FEI Board meeting of 2026, held on 30 June and 1 July at the FEI Headquarters in Lausanne (SUI).

The venue will be the Randbol Dressage Academy, led by Dennis Fisker and the Obel family, which is also playing host to the 2027 European Dressage Championships after having hosted national dressage shows and this year's Danish championships.

The Randbol Dressage Academy is housed at the old Blue Hors stallion station near Billund.

In the past 27 years the "WCYH" have only been hosted at three different venues: Arnheim, Verden, Ermelo. This will be the first time that the WCYH will move outside of Germany-The Netherlands.  Spain had also launched itself as candidate in the bidding process, but lost to Denmark.
