The event redefining dressage in Latin America returns 23 - 25 October 2026 with €350,000 in prize money and the same heart that started it all.
When CDI-W Mexico 2025 closed its doors at Rancho St. Vincent last November, those who were there left with something that goes beyond a sporting memory. They left with the feeling of having been part of something that matters. In 2026, that something returns.
Education That Transforms
CDI-W Mexico has never been just a competition. The 2025 programme included educational sessions with Lendon Gray (USA), clinics led by Dr. Bernanda Hinojosa on horse conditioning, and a masterclass by Frederico Pinteus on judging principles. Meet & Greet sessions with Ingrid Klimke and then-world number one Justin Verboomen proved that the best in the sport can — and want — to share what they know.

Young Riders, Big Opportunities
One of the most celebrated moments of 2025 was the FEI's Borrowed Horses Project — an initiative giving Children and Junior riders the opportunity to compete on loaned horses. The response was overwhelming.
"Watching these young riders enter the arena supported by an entire community is one of the most inspiring moments I've witnessed," said Omar Zayrik, event organizer and FEI Judge. "Bringing this project to our continent shows that dressage can unite us through education and opportunity."
The project returns in 2026.
Culture, Community, and a Tribute to the Grooms

In 2025, the competition was wrapped in music, art, and colour that made it feel distinctly Mexican and genuinely alive. The Skulls Auction, featuring hand-painted sculptures by artist Johan Cova, raised USD 8,700 for six grooms whose horses were recognized as best presented at the veterinary inspection.
Both traditions return in 2026, because the people and culture behind the sport deserve to be celebrated as loudly as the athletes themselves.
Why Mexico in 2026
Under the leadership of organisers Pamela and Valdemar Franco, CDI-W Mexico has become the defining dressage event of Latin America. World-class infrastructure, an exceptional competitive atmosphere, and a warm welcome that riders consistently describe as unlike anything else on the circuit.
