German Grand Prix rider Anke Unger has joined Gut Schwalmbruch as operations manager to strengthen the management team and dressage training programme.
The Gut Schwalmbruch Training and Equestrian Centre is situated in the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park, right on the Dutch border near Mönchengladbach.
Five Pillars with an Expert Team
The five pillars – show jumping and dressage sport, horse breeding, horse training and events – are realised thanks to a wealth of experience and a motivated team. Thomas Grimm and Anke Unger shoulder the jumper and dressage department.
Thomas Grimm has been the cornerstone of show jumping at Gut Schwalmbruch for many years. In show jumping training, he successfully develops horses up to the advanced S*** level. His support is also in high demand as a trainer.

"She brings a high standard of quality to the training of horses and young up-and-coming riders at Gut Schwalmbruch," Klaus Viehof stated.
Education and Competition
Gut Schwalmbruch has built up a solid reputation as outstanding host to competitions, foal shows and training courses.
The modern equestrian facilities include a show jumping arena (ebb and flood system), an outdoor dressage arena (20x60 m, also with an ebb and flood system) and two indoor riding halls (20x40 m and 20x60 m). The yard offers optimal training conditions. In addition to the well-maintained facilities, there are approximately 320 km of forests and bridlepaths right on the doorstep, inviting riders to go out for a hack.
Breeding Programme

In addition, the top sire Dallmayr K joined the family’s herd in 2025; The proven pony stallion now boasts 39 licensed sons. This exceptional stallion has a proven track record of passing on his willingness to perform, rideability and modern conformation. His semen is available from the Neudtadt/Dosse State Stud.
