Kim Alting's nationally competed small tour horse Koen has been sold to Belgian young rider Aude Verheecke.
Koen is an 11-year old KWPN gelding by For Gribaldi out of A Lady (by Trento B x Chronos). He is bred by Gijsbers.

Officially listed as owned by Danique Reesink - Sterenborg, the bay Koen was trained by the team of riders at Eugene Reesink's horse dealing yard.
The Danish Emma Amtrup showed him up to M-level from the end of 2019 through the spring of 2023 but when she left the yard in the summer of 2023 to work for Blue Hors, the ride on Koen went to Kim Alting, who had been rising for Reesink in Eibergen since March 2022.
In January 2023 Kim moved with her allocated horses to Dinja van Liere's stable in Uden as Kris de Vries had left the position. The pair competed at national small tour level and finished 10th at the 2025 Dutch Small Tour Championships. Their CDI debut was in May 2025 in Exloo where they placed in the top five in all three small tour tests with scores between 69.412% for the PSG and 74.492% for the Inter I Kur to Music
Belgium
Koen has now moved to Belgium as a new ride for Belgian young rider Aude Verheecke.

In 2023 they returned to the junior euros in Kronberg and placed 22nd in the individual test with 70.088%. They have been showing at Young Riders level since 2025. Their last CDI was in Compiegne in May 2025. They were 11th at the 2025 Belgian Young Riders Championships.
