The Danish equestrian federation has announced the Grand Prix squads going into 2026.

Danish team trainer / technical advisor Wolfram Wittig and elite sports manager Susie Dannemand have decided to create a new division - the perspective group - alongside an A- and B-squad to ease the transition to a new category and support riders who are about to jump to the next level

There are no changes in the A-squad, while several talent program riders have been given places in the B and perspective groups.

The selections are made based on an overall assessment, where both performance and stability play a role

''To get into the A or B group, more than one good result is needed," said Dannemand. "The form curve must be stable and upward, and the results must be achieved in events where we can measure the riders against each other, e.g. at the Danish Championships. Conversely, it is not just a bad ride that causes you to be dropped from the squads."
