In 2021 German Olympian Dorothee Schneider took over the ride and premiered him at the locak show in Mainz-Bretzenheim in August 2021 before riding the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier with him in Ludwigsburg. In 2022 the pair competed at three CDI's at small tour level: in Munich, Aachen and Ludwigsburg, winning two tests in Munich. Schneider rode Flashback in his first Inter II tests in 2023 and showed him once in January 2024.
The stallion moved to Katrin Burger's barn and she campaigned him at S*** level in Germany in March and April 2025.
Sold to Korea
Flashback has now been sold to Korea through Australian Olympian Hayley Beresford.
The stallion will continue his sport career in Korea under David Jung Kwang Lee, a student of Olympian Young Shik Hwang.
Beresford has strong connections with the Korean market and Hwang's stable, having recently sold an 8-year old Don Juan de Hus to Hwang as his L.A. Olympic hopeful as well as Kingsdale Rodenburg (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro) and McKenzie KL (by Governor x Flemmingh) to Hwang's student, Yu Jin Choi's 15-year old son, who aspires an international dressage career.
