
Colt Vainqueur became the price highlight of the 2025 Grand Prix Sales, a Dutch online dressage foal auction for which the bidding closed on 2 July 2025.
A collection of 17 foals was on offer. Not a single foal went for less than 10,000 euro.
Vainqueur (by Dream Boy x De Niro) sold for 40,000 euro to Mantovani Horses in Portugal. Mantovani also purchased the price highlight last year and paid 115,000 euro for Untouchable DDH.
Mantovani bought five more foals in this auction: Viva La Vida S (by Las Vegas x Franklin) for 16,000 euro, Veyron DW (by Bocelli TN x Lorentin) for 15,000 euro, Vesper STK (by Extreme US x Sandro Hit) for 14,000 euro, as well as VIP Gold (by Viva Gold x Negro) and Verdejo Tina de Nordiek (by Denver US x Vivaldi) for 11,000 euro.
The second most expensive foal was Schubert (by Secret x Jazz) found a new owner for 27,000 euro. The third best seller was Silbertau (by Vitalis x De Niro) for 22,000 euro.
Vanilla Ice DSV (by Viva Vegas x Quaterhit), and Voila d'Ottie (by For Romance x Victoria Grande) both went for 15,000 euro.
Viva La Vie Turfhorst (by Total Diamond PS x San Amour) sold for 13,000 euro, Vinidy Courtier HH (by Escamillo x Vivaldi) and Valhalla (by Kjento x Rousseau) had a hammer price of 12,000 euro.
Van Morrison DW (by Proud James x Vitalis) went for 11,000 euro.
The buckskin colt Volturno Gold (by Qandide x Las Vegas) and Vance NL (by Vaderland x Johnson) got 10,000 euro as highest bid.
