The 2025 CDIO Aachen is rapidly approaching on 2 - 6 July 2025 and more nations are announcing their teams for the all important CDIO 5* Nations Cup division.
Portugal
Portugal will write history in Aachen for being included for the first time with a team for the FEI Nations Cup at the 2025 CDIO Aachen.
The Portuguese Equestrian Federation has been invited to send a full team of four riders based on the country's good performances in recent years.
The selected team riders are:
- Maria Caetano - Hit Plus
- Rita Ralao - Irao
- Joao Torrao - Lirio MVL
- Joao Pedro Moreira - Drosa Furst Kennedy
The team will be accompanied by chef d'equipe António Frutuoso de Melo and team vet Dr. Bruno Miranda.
U.S.A.
Beach Derby
The U.S team will be represented by four Wellington, Florida, based riders:
- Ben Ebeling - Bellena
- Kevin Kohmann - Duenensee
- Kasey Perry Glass - Heartbeat W.P.
- Jennifer Williams - Joppe K
For the CDI 4* tour, the U.S.A. will be fielding Olympian Marcus Orlob on Alice Tarjan's Jane. He will also ride Tarjan's JJ Glory Day in the small tour. Kevin Kohmann is also selected to ride Scala in the small tour.
