Four O'Clock, Best Seller of 2022 Westfalian Spring Elite Auction, Goes to Werndl

Four O'Clock (by For Romance x Robespierrot)

The dark bay Four O'Clock became the price highlight of the 2022 Westfalian Spring Elite Online auction on Sunday 10 April 2022. He sold for 95,000 euro to the Werndl family in Aubenhausen.

55 riding horses and ponies for dressage and jumping were for sale in this auction and 82% of the collection found a new owner. Half of the horses sold abroad. 

Four O'Clock (by For Romance x Robespierrot) was the price highlight. He is bred by Marianne van Mourik in Belgium and was sold by Sporthorses Vaske. 

Sanssouci W (by Secret x Furst Romancier) became the second most expensive horse. Bred by Herbert Werth, this horse sold for 60,000 euro. 

Jumper Carrick (by Cayetano L x Grossadmiral) was the best selling jumping horse. He went to for 57,500 euro. 

Zadeus (by Zoom x Ehrenpreis) sold for 40,000 euro, Zsa Zsa (by Zoom x Belissimo M) for 35,500 euro, Secret Love (by Secret x Hot Spirit) for 29,500 euro and El Dorado (by Escamillo x Floriscount) for 29,500. They all stay in Germany. 

A Belgian bought Bajar (by Belissimo M x Rocky Lee) for 29,500 euro, while a Swiss paid 25,500 euro for Sunny Side Up (by Sensation x Delamanga).

The most expensive pony in the collection was Golden Hero (by Golden West x Nature Boy), who moves to Spain for 29,000 euro. 

The average price for a horse at this auction was 26,698 euro.
