Andreas Helgstrand has acquired the 5-year old Hanoverain stallion Dragon Welt from Jan Brink. The chestnut stallion is the double Swedish young horse champion and a 2017 World YH Championship finalist.

Dragon Welt is bred in Sweden by Pernilla Svensson and Hanoverian registered. He is by Dancier out of Weltmarja (by Weltmeyer). he

Under Ida-Linn Lundholm, he won the Swedish Young Horse Championships and a 3- and 4-year old in 2015 and 2016. In 2017 he finished 9th at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo with an 87.200 score. This year he did not contest the 2017 Swedish Nationals as they closed the classes for foreign bred horses, but instead he competed in a specially designed "stallion class" in which he scored 8.88.

Dragon Welt has now been sold to Denmark.

"Dragon Welt is a class of his own. We have followed him on the sideline and seen how he booked one victory after the other. He's a good combination of extraordinary gaits, good expression and a fabulous temperament," said Andreas.
