Coby van Baalen with Olympic Ferro and Ulla Salzgeber with Rusty are proclaimed as the revelations of 1998. Yet, it is only Olympic Ferro who had a "striking" influence on the dressage world.
An absolute rage of worshiping this gorgeous black stallion has struck The Netherlands.
Coby and Ferro are invited to every clinic, demonstrations, stallion show and dressage competition. BCM's Hoefslag organised a contest for junior riders in which they had to create a personal work round the theme "Dreaming of Dressage". The winners of this contest were invited to the Zwolse Paardendagen, where they could take a look behind the scenes and meet Ferro in real life (picture). The Ferro-rage is not only limited to that fait-divers.
In the United States a real fan club is assembled for Coby van Baalen and her Ulft descendant Ferro. The Dutch/American trainer Jos Sevriens has contacted the owners of Ferro, Jan Lamers and Adrie van der Goor, to develop a plan for the fanclub.
