Doniro was named champion of the 2026 NRPS Stallion Licensing on 22 March 2026.
The NRPS licensing committee inspected 24 three-year old colts and selected 18 to move forward to the performance test to become licensed.
Premium Trio
Doniro was considered the best one of the lot. He is a KWPN registered stallion, originally named Treasure. He is by Donier x Hexagon's Double Dutch x Bordeaux. He is bred by G. Koks and owned by Ron van Someren. He was rejected in the first phase for the 2026 KWPN Stallion Licensing, but with NRPS he was the champion.
The reserve champion was the long named Le Formidable Amour JKH Z. He is by Le Formidable out of a San Amour I x Florencio dam. He is bred by J. Kuypers and owned by Saskia Poel. He is registered with the Zangersheide studbook and made it to the second phase of the 2026 KWPN Stallion Licensing, but was not accepted.
One further stallion was labelled premium: the Westfalian bred Gravitas Global Elite (by Glamdale x FS Delanmanga x Don Bredo). He is bred by Heike Pleines and owned by Global Elite Dressage.

T-Nequeen, Champion Young Dressage Stallions

The 2018 born T-Nequeen (by Trafalgar x Apache x Samba Hit I) was liecnsed in 2022. In early 2023, he passed his performance test with 85.33 points. A National Foal Champion immediately emerged from his small first crop (dam: D’Joep). Last year, another series of very well-moving, high-quality foals by T-Nequeen appeared at the inspection.
