Kimberly Pap's Floris Sold to Korea

Dutch young rider Kimberly Pap has sold her second horse, Floris, to South Korea. The bay Dutch warmblood will continue his sport career under Jaehoon Oh.

Floris is a 13-year old KWPN gelding by Ampere out of Bently (by Florencio x Obrecht). He is bred by Chris Snepvangers in The Netherlands.

Chiel van Bedaf

The bay gelding was first competed by Dutch junior rider Chiel van Bedaf in 2017.

They made their international show debut at junior level at the CDI Diepenbeek in July 2018. 

A year later the pair competed at CD's in Nieuw en St. Joosland, Exloo, and Waregem. They were fifth at the 2019 Dutch Junior Riders Championship and named reserve for the Dutch team for the 2019 European Junior Riders Championships. 

The pair concluded its career at the CDI Lier in February 2020.

Kimberly Pap

The horse moved to Kimberly Pap's stable and returned to the CDI arena a year later in 2021 in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, at Young Riders' level.

Pap had two horses to ride at the time, Just a Dream and Floris, and both went on a string of competitions through 2022 with competition starts in Exloo, Grote-Brogel, Aachen, and Kronenberg.

In 2022 Pap moved to senior level and rode Floris in the small tour. At the CDI Kronenberg they booked their first international victory together in the Inter I kur to Music. At the 2022 Dutch small tour championships they were 23rd in the first round.

Korea

Floris has now been sold to the 25-year old Jaehoon Oh. 

Oh first competed internationally as a show jumping rider at the 2015 CSIJ-B on horses Nemo and Cayetana (by Sandro Song x Larome). 

Since then he has switched to dressage and is based in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. His is second horse is the chestnut Rachisande.
