Antonia Ax:son Johnson's Lovsta Stuteri, best known as home to Swedish Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson, has taken over the management of the Flyinge Stallion Station from Paul Schockemöhle.
In April 2022 the transfer of management will take place.
"Through this collaboration, both Flyinge AB and Lövsta Stuteri want to promote breeding and equestrian sports in the south of Sweden," the press release read. "We look forward to starting up operations at historic Flyinge. Through our presence here, we can reach more customers
at the same time as we secure breeding in southern Sweden, as there is currently a great shortage of stations."
Flyinge used to be a fully state owned and run yard, where horse breeding has been conducted for more than 350 years. Since 2011, the breeding business has been run in collaboration with Paul Schockemöhle
Lövsta Stuteri will now have two branches, Stjärnborg and Flyinge. Some of their stallions stand at the Skåne hub Borebackar Gård. Lovsta will also assist in the educational programs at Flyinge.
