The first KWPN Online auction of 2020, selling embryos and brood mares, became a great success.
The best selling dressage lot was an embryo by Le Formidable out of Renate-Utopia (by Jazz x Ulft), the dam of licensed stallion Vivaldi. The embryo sold to a Dutch buyer for 38,000 euro.
The most expensive lot was actually a straw of semen from jumper stallion Chacco Blue (by Charmetin x Contender). A fierce bidding duel between clients from Germany, Poland, Slovenia and the U.K. took place and in the end the straw sold to Germany for 42,000 euro!
The most expensive broodmare was a jumper mare, the 4-year old Lynette H&H (by Hermantico) which sold for 15,000 to a Dutch client.
The best selling dressage bred broodmare was Incilla (by Andretti). She sold for 15,000 euro and will stay in the country. She's in foal to Geniaal. A Brit purchased Ja d'Orlandaise (by Negro), in foal to Painted Black, for 14,500 euro. Citrien Sollenburg (by Johnson x Cabochon), in foal to Vitalis, sold for 14,000 euro.
The average for a brood mare was approximately 11,500 euro.
An embryo by Zonik out of Djo Ter Kwinck (by Jazz x Flemmingh), the full sister to keur stallion Johnson, fetched 10,500 euro and one by Valverde out of Wildfire Ferra (by Ferro) got 10,000 euro.
