2017 Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Don Easy and the 6-year old Die Clara von der Weide won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the 2017 Nienburg Riding Festival in Nienburg, Germany, on Friday 16 June 2017. A big field of twenty-one 5-year olds and eleven 6-year olds came together at this event.

In the 5-year old L-level dressage horse test Magdalena Preisler rode the dark bay Hanoverian gelding Don Easy (by Don Frederico x Rubinstein) to a first place with an 8.1 total score. The gelding got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression. Rieke Schnieder and the Oldenburg bred Adoro (by Ampere x Donnerschwee) were the runners-up with 8.0. The bay stallion got 6.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.

Rieke Schnieder and the Hanoverian mare Die Clara von der Heide (by Dancier x Lanthan) topped the board in the 6-year old M-level dressage horse test with 7.7. The score was good for the trophy but not enough for qualification for Warendorf. The black mare got 9 for walk, 8 for trot, 7.5 for canter, 6.5 for submission and 7.5 for general impression. Schnieder also placed second with Stiene von der Heide, a Hanoverian mare by Sir Donnerhall x Latimer.
