Renowned Selle Français breeder Robert Gaudichau-Paulsen has passed away on Friday 18 March 2016 at age 89. Gaudichau-Paulsen is the founder of brood farm De Paulstra in in Douy, France.

Robert Gaudichau-Paulsen was a show jumping horse breeder but several of his breeding products ended being licensed stallions that produced numerous Grand Prix level dressage horses.

The now 34-year old Qredo de Paulstra (by Galoubet x Furioso) sired Quattro B, who was originally named Ciel d'Espoir. Quattro B sired Grand Prix horses Quantum Tyme (Evi Strasser), Quando Quando (Kristy Oatley), Quincy, Matcho Toltier,

Gaudichau-Paulsen was also part of the show organizing team of the jumper and breed event Grande Semaine in Fontainebleau, France.

Gaudichau-Paulsen leaves behind his wife Claude.
