The 24-year old Selle Français breeding stallion Quattro B has been euthanized. The chestnut stallion was stationed at Gestut Bockmann in Lastrup, Germany and was suffering from old age.

Quattro B was bred by Remi Feron in France and born in 1990. He was sired by Qredo de Paulstra out of Une Americaine (by Pandora du Thot x Uriel).

Under Gilbert Böckmann the chestnut was placed in show jumping up to World Cup level and had placings in dressage up to M-level.

Quattro B was known for his versatility. He produced top show jumpers as well as dressage horses. His most famous dressage offspring was the licensed stallion Quando Quando. Of his 15 licensed sons Quando-Quando and owner Kristy Oatley competed at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen and 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Quando-Quando is also sire of the Mecklenburg licensing winner Quiztime and grandsire of Bundeschampion Quaterback and World Champion of five-year old show jumpers, Quicksilber.

Quattro's B list of successful jumper offspring is endless:  Qualite S (Björn Nagel/UKR), Quanta Costa (Beat Mändli/SUI), Valhalla (Jamie Kermond/AUS), Loro Piana Quinta Roo (Lucia Vizzini/ITA), Suzie Quattro (Luciana Diniz/POR), Queeno (Mario Stevens), Indiana (Louise Saywell/GBR), Quattrina R (Fabio Botto/ITA) and nd Quinaro (Henry Vaske).
