On the fourth and final dressage pre-selection day for the 2016 KWPN Stallion Licensing, the committee selected twenty young colts to move on to the second phase of the licensing in February.
The total collection of dressage bred colts for the 2016 KWPN Stallion Licensing now includes 98 colts.
Desperado (by Vivaldi x Havidoff) was the most successful sire of the day with six sons passed, Dream Boy (by Vivaldi x Ferro) got five sons selected.
"We were able to keep our trend of picking long-lined and sizeable colts going also on the final day," said committee chair Bert Rutten. "Sires such as Desperado, Dream Boy and Everdale stood out positively even though their offspring were not very consistently stamped."
There will be one more late pre-selection day on 19 December for colts who were unable to appear on the regular days.
