Black Type, Top Seller of the 2015 Top Dressage Talents Auction

The 3-year old Black Type (by Benetton Dream x Royal Highness) became the price highlight of the Top Dressage Talents auction in Luhmuhlen, Germany, on 7 November 2015.

Top Dressage Talents is yet another brand new auction of young dressage sport horses added to the German equestrian calendar. This was the second edition of the event and the 2015 auction featured a small collection of 15 horses in total that were all sold.

The stallion Black Type sold for 60,000 euro.

The 5-year old Formotion (by Furst Nymphenburg I x Sao Paulo) was the second most expensive horse of the auction alongside the 4-year old Rolex (by Rock Forever x Compliment). Both sold for 33,000 euro.  The 3-year old gelding Sir Arthus (by Buddenbrock x Consul) achieved a knock down price of 24,000 euro.

The average price for a horse at this auction was 21,367 euro.
