The 5-year old Bordeaux' Barolo and the 6-year old XX won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Neuss-Grefrath on Sunday 17 May 2015. The L-level dressage horse test was judged by Camillo Hündgen, Hans Peter Schmitz and Eckhard Wemhöner, while Rolf Peter Fuss, Ulrike Nivelle and Ralph Tapken were the ground jury for the M-level test.
Twelve 5-year olds contested the L-level dressage horse test and the division was won by Lydia Camp on Alida Abrar's Westfalian stallion Bordeaux' Barolo (by Bordeaux x Munchhausen). The duo totalled 8.1 after scoring 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Martin Sander and Christian Klöber's Oldenburg stallion Salino S (by Sir Donnerhall I x Weltmeyer) landed second with with 8.0. This horse got 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 9 for general impression.
Nine 6-year olds contested the BuCha qualifier in Neuss Grefrath and Annabel Frenzen aced the class on her own Rhinelander gelding Step Up (by Sir Donnerhall x Ehrentusch). The pair scored 8.2 and were the only ones to score high enough to secure a ticket to Warendorf. The bay gelding got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Lydia Camp and Alexis Vrachoritis' Hanoverian Fidibus (by Fidertanz x Hohenstein) were the runners-up with 7.7. This horse got 9 for trot, 7.5 for walk and canter, 8 for submission and 7.5 for general impression.
