Blue Hors stud has hired Thomas Lassen to complete a team of three in-house riders for the training and competing of the horses. Lassen will join Maria Anita Andersen and Allan Grøn and will be mainly training the young horses.
Lassen became a professional dressage rider at age 22 by starting to work under Andreas Helgstrand at Blue Hors in 2003. He left the stallion station for Stall K in Norway for a period of time. Lassen was last employed at stallion station Højagergård before moving back to Blue Hors in Randbøl, Denmark.
Lassen is very active on the young horse circuit and has competed numerous horses in the Danish Young Horse Championships and at the World Championships in Verden. In 2009 he rode Uno Don Diego in Verden, in 2008 he showed Stall-K's Hero Flower there.
Blue Hors' top Grand Prix horses, Romanov and Casmir, are not in Denmark but are with Edward Gal and Lars Petersen for training.
