The colt Quiz Me Quick van de Kempenhoeve and the filly Quality van het Beukenhof were named Dressage Champions at the 2016 Belgian Warmblood Foal Championship at Stable Hulsterlo in Meerdonk, Belgium, on 27 August 2016.
More than 200 foals, of which the majority was show jumping bred, participated in the BWP Nationals. Eighteen dressage bred colts and seventeen dressage bred fillies took part.
At the end of the sunny day, five colts and seven fillies were invited to the champion ring in which the national champions are proclaimed. `
In the colt division Quiz Me Quick van de Kempenhoeve received the champion's sash. Bred by Marc Dries, Quiz Me Quick is out of KWPN lines, by Governor out of a Rousseau dam. He scored 88 points. Q'Charniro van het Westhof (by Charmeur x De Niro) was named the reserve champion with 85 points.
In the filly category Quality van het Beukenhof (by Sir Donnerhall x Fidertanz) became the Filly Champion. She is bred by Liesbeth Molenberghs and scored 86 points in the finals. Marc Dries' Quantacosta van de Kempenhoeve (by Guardian S x Weltmeyer) was the reserve champion with 84 points.
