The Belgian warmblood filly Karenina d'Es (by Sir Donnerhall x Weltmeyer) has been proclaimed 2010 Belgian Warmblood Dressage Foal of the Year at the 2010 BWP National Foal Championships last Saturday 28 August 2010.
Nine dressage bred foals were selected for the champion's ring and Karolien Huylebroek's filly Karenina d'Es was the best of the pack. Kamiel Devroe's Kadja-Nin van de Kiekenhoef (by San Amour x Lucky Him van het Vijverbos) became the reserve champion.
The breeders' duo De Waele-Declerck finished in third place with their Kadans van de Vogelzang (by Quaterback x De Niro).
The top 9 ranked foals at the 2010 BWP Dressage Foal Championship were:
