Marianne Hendriksen has been named the KWPN Breeder of the Year at the 2016 KWPN Horse Days in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on Saturday 13 August 2916.
Hendriksen's biggest breeding successes include the KWPN licensed stallion Amazing Star and Dutch 2012 Olympic team horse Undercover.
At the 2016 KWPN Horse Days three of her breeding products were presented and honoured, including the KWPN approced Incognito (by Davino VOD). He will be doing the KWPN Stallion Performance Testing in the autumn.
Hendriksen also bred Amazing Star (by Flemmingh x Ferro), who placed fifth at the KWPN Stallion Licensing and won the Pavo Cup finals as a 5-year old. He also participated in the World Young Horse Championships. Amazing Star has been sold to Japan as a small tour horse. Amazing Star sired the Westfalian licensed Goldberg and the KWPN licensed Five Star, who won silver at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships.
Other sport horses coming from Hendriksen's breeding licensed are the Grand Prix horse Zhivago (by Flemmingh), Intermediaire II horse Rising Star (by Krack C) and small tour horse Untouchable (by Ferro).
