Danish Grand Prix rider Michael Sogaard has sold his number one horse in his barn, Slaebaekgaard's Santino, to the U.S.A.

Danish Made

Slaebaekgaard's Santino is a 12-year old Danish warmblood by Sir Donnerhall out of Slaebaekgaards Cathia (by Carano). He is bred by Dorthe Bak Himmelstrup.

Michael Sogaard discovered the dark bay gelding as a foal in an advertisement and purchased him. He trained Santino from young horse level to Grand Prix.

The pair finished seventh at the 2015 Danish Young Horse Championships in the 6-year old finals and represented Denmark at the 2017 World Young Horse Championships and placed 11th in the 7-year old finals. They competed at small tour level at the 2016 CDI Hagen, 2018 CDI Herning and 2019 CDI's in AAlborg, Stockholm and Flyinge.

They got C-squad listed in 2021 and were fifth again at the 2021 Danish Grand Prix Championships.
