The Canadian equestrian federation has announced that one combination will represent Canada at the 2026 World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden, Germany, on 5 - 9 August 2026.

While more Canadian riders have been competing young horses internationally, only one ends up actually going to the World Championships.

The 27-year old Indian born Canadian rider Ameera Singh Pasrich and 7-year-old KWPN stallion Orean will fly the Canadian flag in Verden.

Singh Pasrich is based in Germany and supported by Jindal Steel Ltd. She has been mentored through her career by Naveen Jindal, a decorated polo player. Her father, Amir Singh Pasrich, is a commercial lawyer and former Oxford University polo captain. Ameera graduated from the University of Bath and is professionally engaged in her family's law firm. She declared for Canada in 2025.

Orean is a 2019 born KWPN stallion by Qaside MD out of Beste Dieni (by Flemmingh x Parcival). The buckskin is bred by Janneke Gnodde and is from the same dam line that produced Grand Prix horses Kardieno (by Dante Weltino - KWPN licensed) and Diede Dieni (by Spielberg). Orean was first with Maxime Osse in The Netherlands before selling to Singh. He is licensed for Oldenburg.
