The Swedish equestrian federation and Swedish warmblood have short-listed eight horses for team consideration for the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden on 5 - 9 August 2026.
Two Swedish selection events were held in May at the Kimsta Riding club (22 - 24 May) and in Flyinge (28 - 31 May) after which a short list of 8 horses per age category was drafted.
These horses are invited to a mandatory observation trial in Mantorp on 15 - 16 June after which the nominative team will be named. The selectors are Stefan Jansson and Marie Knutsson.
Sweden is eligible to send four horses per age division.
