Five dressage bred stallions were accepted by the stallion committee at the 2027 Danish Warmblood Late Licensing.
The committee travelled to three venues to inspect stallions that for some reason were prevented from attending the main licensing in Herning at the start of March.
"Since there were only a few stallions registered for the re-qualification, and they were gathered at three different stallion stations, it was decided that representatives of the Breeding Management in dressage and jumping should drive to the stations to inspect the stallions there," Danish warmblood communicated.
The five dressage stallions that got the green light were:
- Excuse Me (2023, by Extra Gold x Charmeur) - bred by Roland and Britta Labohm and owned by Helgstrand Dressage – approved for testing, 1 year breeding approval
- Hesselhoj Dynasty (2023, by Hesselhoj Donkey Boss x Highfive Fuglsang) - bred by Hesselhøj and owned by Nicole Derlin – approved for testing, 1 year breeding approval
- Søbakkehus Danny Ocean (2023, by Hesselhoj Donkey Boss x Wilkens) - bred and owned by Stutteri Søbakkehus – approved for testing, 1 year breeding approval (pictured)
- Hannu Haakon (2023, by Scaglietti x Millennium) - bred in Germany and owned by Nicole Derlin - approved for testing, 1 year breeding approval
- Frank VH (2023, by Franklin x For Emotion) - bred and owned by Västra Hoby Stutteri - he passed a saddle testing test and got a 1 year breeding approval.
