The 2026 World Cup Finals in Fort Worth, Texas, have truly kicked off on 8 April 2026 with a special welcome party and the official draw for the order of go for the Grand Prix.
The party and draw were held at Sundance square in the town center of Fort Worth. A see-through tent in the square with beautifully decorated tables and high tops was filled to the brim with attendees. A live band played music to set the atmosphere.
The draw took place true Texan style with the starting number on the sole of a cowboy boot. Each rider had to come forward to choose a boot and get his/her starting place in the Grand Prix confirmed.
The Grand Prix will take place on Thursday 9 April 2026 and will start at 19h00 local time after an opening ceremony that begins at 1!h15. For the European viewers this means waking up at the ungodly hour on Friday morning, checking in online at 2 AM to watch the steam until 4h30 AM.
