Carina Cassoe Kruth Not to Go to 2026 World Cup Final Due to Paperwork Issue

Ridehesten reported that Danish Olympian Carina Cassoe Kruth will not be travelling to the 2026 World Cup Finals in Fort Worth, TX, USA following paperwork issues.

Kruth qualified her number one horse, Heiline's Danciera (by Furstenball x De Niro) by finishing tenth on the Western European League World Cup ranking after the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch. Nine Western European League riders are eligible to go to the Final but with four out of nine dropping out (not including the title defender Charlotte Fry, who also declined to go), many spots opened up riders ranked outside the top nine.

Unfortunately for Kruth she won't be crossing the Atlantic because of a "discrepancy in the travel documents from the American authorities," as Ridehesten reported. Kruth had everything packed and ready to go.

Ridehesten explained: "The event organizer's shipping partner has submitted travel documents to the Danish authorities, but they cannot be approved in Denmark due to a minor issue/interpretation. Carina's own veterinarian has signed the papers, but when the district veterinarian came today for dinner to sign the documents and make traces, he did not agree with the design of the document that the event organizer's shipping agent has submitted, and the district veterinarian could therefore not sign the travel document due to a minor issue/interpretation."

Kruth commented to Danish Warmblood, "t is an unfortunate situation, and right now I am of course very affected by it. We have tried in every way to make it a success today, but without success. I have really looked forward to riding in the World Cup final in Texas and to having that experience together with my family, my groom and Danse's owners Ingrid and Poul Thøgersen. "

Kruth recently returned to the Danish A-squad following good results in the international arena after a period of exclusion.
