Damil Dressage invites you to a very special stallion presentation on Saturday, March 28, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Reetbachhof in Fürstenau – and will also be celebrating the grand opening of its new EU insemination station.

Santiago Damil and his team will present the stallions in training sessions – with expert commentary by none other than riding master and training icon Jean Bemelmans.

“We also want to present our stallions from a sporting perspective,” explains Santiago Damil, whose reputation as an exceptionally sensitive Grand Prix trainer precedes him. “For this reason, we are very pleased to have Jean Bemelmans, who will bridge the gap between breeding and sport with his insights.”

A Very Special Stallion Presentation

The six-horse stallion lot from Damil Dressage is led by Beck’s in Black (by Beck’s – Londonderry), the bronze medalist at last year’s Bundeschampionat and Hanoverian Championships, and Valerian (by Va’ Pensiero – De Niro), the current Sporttest winner and the horse with the highest overall score in all Sport tests from the past season. No less prominent are the rising star and fourth-place Sport test finisher Vespasiano, a descendant of the Louisdor Prize winner Viva Gold under Isabell Werth, and his paternal half-brother Vivamor, whose outstanding foals are already the talk of the town.

Damil Dressage also announces two spectacular new additions: the acclaimed DSP premium stallion Dolce Bacio, the only Dutch Dream son standing at stud in Germany, whose dam is the German and Westphalian Champion Baroness Bibi, and Elden Ring from Energy’s debut crop.

Damil Dressage

Damil Dressage, founded in 2018 by Santiago Damil and his partner Franziska Erley with a focus on discovering and optimally developing highly talented dressage horses, has been based at the Reetbachhof in Fürstenau/Germany since 2022. In 2023, the facility expanded to include a stallion station, which has held EU status since this year. This means the stallions are available throughout Europe via fresh semen.

Damil Dressage opens its doors on Saturday at 3 p.m. The stallion presentation begins around 4 p.m. Afterward, guests are cordially invited to a breeders’ evening with complimentary catering and one hour of free beer.

Admission is free.
