A new Dressage Club for passionate amateur competition riders has been established at Gut Hohenkamp. Gut Hohenkamp offers amateur riders the opportunity to show their dressage riding skills without having to compete against professionals.
Amateur Friendly Atmosphere
Within the framework of the Dressage Club, amateur riders in particular have the chance to participate several times a year in various dressage competitions at Gut Hohenkamp, ranging from L level up to S***. They can compete against peers of similar levels in diverse classes with exciting final rounds, gaining valuable show experience and confidence for themselves and their horses.
Shouldn’t amateurs be encouraged to take part in competitions where they are not sent into the ring against professionals? Only then can the motivation of amateur riders be maintained—or awakened—to invest time and money in “their” equestrian sport. .
Breeders, as well as professional riders who train and sell horses to amateurs, are among the beneficiaries of a strengthened competitive amateur dressage sport.
Excellent Conditions
At the five‑star equestrian facility Gut Hohenkamp, stalls in a dedicated barn section can be made available to members of the Dressage Club, including full care (feeding and bedding).

The competition conditions are excellent, featuring a beautiful, lightfilled dressage event arena (20m x 65m), spacious covered warmup areas (warmup arena 30m x 80m), and two outdoor dressage arenas (20m x 60m) with topquality footing.
