Swedish Team Pony Nice One Sold to Poland

Nice One, Ronja Kardos' Swedish team pony at the 2024 and 2025 European Pony Championships, has been sold to Poland as a schoolmaster.

Nice One is a 16-year old Swedish Connemara pony by Sjodalens Magnet out of Shanna (by Rolls Royce x Clifdne Wind RC x Slieve Dara RC). He is bred by Sara Liew.

Ronja Kardos

The buckskin gelding was initially competed by Klara Ambrosiani before Ronka Kardos took over the ride in 2022.

Kardos piloted Nice One in his first international competition in Sint-Truiden Belgium, in April 2023, where they won the team test. The pair gained experience in Le Mans and then headed to the 2023 Nordic Baltic Championships in Drammen (NOR), where they won team silver and individual bronze.

In 2024 the dup went to Tolbert, Exloo and Hagen before being nominated on the Swedish team for the European Pony Championships in Opglabbeek, where Sweden won team bronze. Nice One finished 10th in the Kur to Music Finals.

In their last season together, in 2025, they showed in Sint-Rruiden, scored a triple win in Sopot and at the European Pony Championships in Le Mans, they were again 10th in the Kur. At the Swedish Pony Championships they won triple gold.

Schoolmaster

Nice One was advertised in Eurodressage Equimarket as Kardos has reached the age limit for ponies. "Nisse" has now found a new home in Wojcieszyn, Poland with Joanna Adamczyk as a schoolmaster for her daughter Zosia.

Kardos has moved to junior level, already in 2025, with horse Holly's Temptation SA (by Touchdown x Bernstein) which she showed at the CDI Aalborg and 2025 Nordic Baltic championships in Ypaja (FIN).
