Horses.nl reported that none of the three stallions presented at the 2026 KWPN Saddle Licensing in Ermelo on 21 January 20 were accepted.

Six dressage bred stallions were presented: a first group of three for acceptance to do the performance test, and a second group of three to get "selected" first and then start the mandatory performance testing process.

The group of the first three included the already licensed Stromae (by Las Vegas x Sir Donnerhall I) owned by C. van Heukelen, and Sonic (by Las Vegas x Davino V.O.D.) owned by Astrid Langeberg, as well as the voluntarily presented Sir Las Vegas (by Las Vegas x De Niro) owned by Joop van Uytert. These three can be re-presented under saddle on 11 February.

A further three were presented for the "under saddle licensing." They were Kyteman (aka Sempre Fidelio - by Kyton x Zack),  So Total (by Total Hope x Desperado) - these were both rejected in the second phase of the 2025 KWPN licensing, as well as  So Nice (by So Perfect), who was  rejected in the first phase last year. Neither passed their second at getting licensed.

The spring testing starts on 23 February 2026.
