Swedish pony team rider Angelina Brink has taken over the reins on the American owned Tuschomie as a junior rider's horse.

Tuschomie is a 13-year old Swedish warmblood mare by Tuschinski out of KGS Horgaard Remis (by Blue Hors Romancier x Weltmeyer). She is bred by Annica Hedman.

Initially owned by Jasmine Järnepalm and  Erik Olofsson, the dark bay mare was first competed in Sweden as a 3-year old by Mathilda Adolfsson in 2015. The pair finished 23rd at the Swedish Young Horse Championships.

In 2016 Lena Holgersson got the ride from the owners and showed her in the young horse classes. In 2017 they were 8th at the Swedish Young Horse Championships for 5-year olds and in 2018 they did the 6-year old classes.

The mare sold through Jan Brink to his American client and student Rebecca Cohen, who is based in Wellington, Florida.

The new duo made its national show debut in Wellington in the summer of 2020 and moved to small tour level in 2021. Their international small tour debut was also in Wellington in February 2022, followed by the CDI Ocala, where they were second in the Intermediaire I.

A two-year break from CDI showing followed and the duo returned to the arena in February 2024 for some national classes followed by two further CDI starts in March 2024. The pair did one CDI In Wellington in February 2025 and rode two national PSG tests during the derby weekend.

Two years later in 2024 she returned to the CDI ring with Ceramonte B (by Calido G x Cui Bona) and has ridden him at the 2025 European Pony Championships, where she was 11th in the Kur to Music with 72.550%.  She still has one year to go on ponies

Brink began riding "Shumi" at the start of September to prepare for junior level.
