Untimely Passing
Lienert announced the passing of 17-year old Dutchman on social media.
"Dino my big friend. You've given so much," said Emma. "You followed my first steps into Grand Prix Sport and so much of it was possible because of you. Together we have been able to win both national and international Grand Prix.
Never did I expect to lose you so suddenly now."
Lienert told Eurodressage that Dutchman passed suddenly and unexpectedly. "I’m devastated," she said. "He had a brain hemorrhage caused by a tumor. Two weeks ago he was third in the Grand Prix, so it was very unexpected for everyone."
